Look no further for the perfect summer dress for moms. I recently bought this dress off Amazon, and let me tell you, it is AMAZING. We are experiencing a heat wave, and this is all I want to wear. The fabric is so insanely thin, but strong and fully lined past the knees. I love everything about it and it comes in so many fun colors!
It’s totally not static-y at all. I was a little worried about that with the fabric being so thin and wispy, but I’ve gone for walks in it and there is absolutely not problem with it sticking to my legs.
I feel like it’s a very flattering cut, because it skims so nicely over my mom tummy. It hides any lumps and bumps, and the tiers don’t add any volume until the bottom. The little snap on the neckline seemed a bit too high to me, but that would be an easy fix to adjust it, or even just remove it.
The sleeves are a little higher than I expected. I thought it would have more like bell sleeves, but these are fluttery cap sleeves. It’s still flattering enough and the layers tend to cover the back and front of the arm, but something to be aware of if you don’t like to show off your upper arms.
The print is like an abstract leopard pattern, which is something I really wanted to incorporate into my capsule wardrobe this season. (I also got this beautiful red skirt with a similar pattern that I’ll post about later.)

This dress is literally the most comfortable item of clothing that I own right now. It’s all I want to wear. Since becoming a mom, comfortable clothing has become nonnegotiable for me. I still work and have to look professional, so this is the perfect balance. Feels like I’m wearing silky pajamas, looks like I’m ready for work. 🙂 It’s not constricting in any way. The dress has an elastic waistband and you tie the bow yourself, so you can make it as tight or loose as you choose or even wear it in your hair and just let the elastic waistband do the work.
I am considering getting it in more colors as I literally wear it more than once a week. I really like the coffee and light blue colors.
