Jungle Nursery Decor for Baby

We just got Raylee a new crib and finished putting together her jungle nursery! I love how it turned out! We may eventually paint the wall behind her crib a light rust or something. Let me know in the comments if you think we should leave it neutral, or go for the rust!

Raylee has been sleeping in this cute little white minicrib that my boss let me borrow. It was so perfect for our small space. We recently moved and have more space now, so we decided to just look for a bigger crib. That way she could use it more long-term and the minicrib would be available for whenever we decide to have another little one. I found this crib on Facebook marketplace, and I loooved the two-tone wood color. Here’s a similar two tone wood crib.

Cutest Jungle Crib Sheets

Since we bought a bigger crib, we had to buy her new sheets. Oh darn, shopping for cute, new baby things! Her nursery is jungle themed, but VERY heavy on the white and gray, so I was specifically looking for something with some color. I was suuuper happy to find these colorful jungle sheets! I absolutely LOVED them from the second I saw them.

There are sooo many white and gray sheets out there for some reason, and I just wanted something that would pop and help make her crib the focal point of the room. I was reading through the reviews, and the one that really sold me was someone saying their kid liked to point out all the animals each night before going to sleep. Excuse me while my heart melts. Raylee is just getting to the stage of pointing at things, and it’s the absolute cutest.

I love that they are colorful, but they have very modern colors and are classy. I wanted to avoid the totally kiddish look for her nursery, which might seem silly since it’s a kids room…but I figured I care a lot more about the decor in there for now than she does. I’m sure as she gets older she’ll have her own preferences, but for now I get to pick, so I want something I like looking at. 🙂 I also LOVED that the tigers look so mom and popish, with double chins and one with the gold glasses! So cute!!!

These cute baby animal prints were the first item I put on my baby registry. 🙂 I love them so much and absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to add to their jungle nursery! Here’s the tropical leaf print changing pad cover and laundry basket.

Here are a few more decor items. This salt lamp is a must have for the early newborn days! I recommend it to everyone. I LOVED that I could barely have a warm glow during those 3AM feedings. 🙂 It sets the tone now every night as we go through our bedtime routine. Nate really wanted an authentic Himalayan salt lamp, so we got this one. Here’s one a few bucks cheaper that has good reviews.

We use this diffuser in lieu of a humidifier. It brings such a feeling of peace and the steam helps her sleep in our dry climate and helps with congestion.

We technically wanted her room to be “safari” themed, but the safari crib sheets by the same brand didn’t match the vibe as well…so I was willing to bend the theme a little. 🙂 I also found this cute monstera leaf banner at our local zurchers, so we’re morphing over to more of a jungle theme anyway.

Bonus! Animal Books

Here are a couple of Raylee’s and my favorite animal books that we enjoy at bedtime! ABC Dance!, which goes through the alphabet with animals and their dance moves. The book is a fun, rhythmic, rhymed read. It’s super cute, but just a warning, it will get stuck in your head!

The other book is You’re Okay! This one is also a cute fun rhymed book with flaps, which Raylee loves! It has a great message about all emotions being okay and has a really positive, comforting vibe.
